What is a soffit board?
Soffit boards are long horizontal boards that fit under the roofline, perpendicular to the wall. Along with fascia boards or cover boards, soffit boards give the roofline a completely weatherproof seal.
Soffit is the name given to the board that runs horizontally from the back edge of the bottom of the fascia board to the top of the wall, closing off the roof space at the eaves. Soffit Boards can be plain or vented, and there is also a cost-effective hollow version that has a tongue and grooved effect to mimic timber cladding.
The soffit is non-load-bearing.
Dark grey is the darkest shade of grey we offer and has the RAL code of 7045. The boards are most suited to new builds and contemporary properties, even more so on those that feature grey guttering.
We also stock storm grey 10mm plain soffit for those wanting a lighter finish.

Because of its high durability and easy to maintain nature, UPVC is a great choice of material for soffit boards.
You should first install fascia or capping boards and then soffit after that, and finally gutters!
UPVC soffit boards are completely waterproof, meaning that no moisture can penetrate the core of the boards – this prevents the boards from rotting, splitting, or warping over time.
