Underfloor Heating for Wood Floors

Explore our range of electric underfloor heating for wood floor finishes, offering a seamless, low-profile installation.

You can choose from three types of underfloor heating systems for your wood floors: sticky mats, loose cables, or foil mats. You can also pick from various power outputs for your electric underfloor heating system, but you should keep the power output below 150W if you use wood, vinyl (LVT), or carpet (max tog 2.5 combined with underlay) as your floor finish to prevent overheating the floor.

When choosing the right kit for your wood floor, remember the thickness, as thinner and denser wood conducts heat better and warms up faster. We recommend consulting with your flooring manufacturer about its compatibility with electric underfloor heating. Wood is a natural material that can swell and shrink with changes in temperature and humidity, so to avoid bending or splitting, you should pick a wood floor that has a low moisture content and is appropriate for underfloor heating.
