Yes, fascia boards of any colour will inevitably begin to fade over time. That being said, our fascia boards are manufactured with high-quality UV-stabilised uPVC, which helps to protect the colour of the boards and trims from bleaching due to sunlight exposure. This means that the boards will retain their colour far longer than painted timber boards would.
Whilst anthracite grey is a colour most often associated with modern builds, it can suit older properties as well, especially when the woodgrain effect boards are paired with traditional style brick or stone walls.
Yes, but you should first thoroughly check the existing timber fascias to ensure that they are fit to be capped over. This means there should be no signs of rotting or cracking. If this is the case, then 10mm fascia capping boards can be fixed over them. However if the timber fascia are in poor condition, they should be removed and full 18mm replacement anthracite fascias should be fitted.
