Our Clear Solid Polycarbonate Sheets are lightweight and robust, with the clarity of glass and the strength of steel. These sheets are easy to handle and can be bent cold or machined.
Polycarbonate sheets excel in several major European fire performance tests, achieving a Class 1Y rating in accordance with BS476 Part 7 Surface Spread of Flame.
Naturally, this makes it an excellent choice for low-level glazing in schools and other public buildings.
Polycarbonate sheets have risen in popularity from being used in the fight against COVID-19, acting as barriers for staff and the public. Unlike glass, polycarbonate sheets will not smash when hit or accidentally knocked.
