This pack of 15 double socket 45 degree bends is an economical bulk buy for 110mm underground drainage installations. The 45 degree bend is one of our most popular fittings, commonly used to create a change of direction in a pipe run or on the outlet of a 45 degree gully trap. Two of these bends are often used together at the foot of a soil pipe to form a long radius 90 degree bend.
Both ends of the bend are socketed to accept a length of 110mm drainage pipe. If the pipe has been cut to length it should be chamfered and lubricated with our SG100 lubricant before insertion into the socket to ensure the best possible seal. Double socket bends can also be used with fittings that have a pre-chamfered spigot end, such as single socket bends or gullies.
Buying 110mm drainage bends by the pack keeps the unit cost down and means spare fittings are always on site. If you are unsure of the exact angle needed, an adjustable bend can be rotated to any angle between 0 and 90 degrees.
