UPVC Roofline Installation - PDF
Take a look at our leaflet on installation tips for UPVC roofline components, in refurbishment and new build replacement projects.
Flat-Backed Fascia is the term given to a replacement fascia which has no protruding lip or leg at the bottom of the board. These 16mm thick boards are ideally used in applications where direct fixing to the wall is required as may be the case with garages, where a decorative finish is required as is the case for flat roof carports or when there is no soffit as would be the case in open eaves applications.
The decorative feature of this board is further enhanced by the bullnosed finish giving the bottom of the board a smooth rounded profile in contrast to the normal squared finish.
You will find the following video helpful if this is your first time working with PVC Fascia systems, as it gives a very brief overview of which elements go where and explains the key terms that are used.
In this range we stock only White. Our 18mm Standard Fascia is also available in Anthracite Grey, Black Ash, Golden Oak and Rosewood.
The Replacement Fascia stocked by PVC Cladding carries a 10 year guarantee in relation to product performance and discolouration, and are Class 1 fire rated in accordance with British Standards.
All Replacement Fascia Boards should be fixed to the rafter ends using 2 x 65mm Polytop nails spaced no more than 600mm apart (400mm for Woodgrain).
